Meet Amber
Meet Amber
Before I met my husband and started a family, I was already in love.
They say your first love is special, and I’d have to agree. But that passion isn’t always directed at a person. Mine was directed at something that’s just as important to me now as it was back then.
Numbers.
The idea of getting the complete story from a single source that has rules and can’t be manipulated was magical to me. Math was something I never got tired of because if you looked hard enough, you always found what you were looking for.
My career started in medical billing, but in 2015, I discovered accounting, and I’ve never looked back. From payroll to taxes and everything in between, the idea of using math to make a real difference has never gotten old.
Over the years, new tools have popped up, but one thing never changes, and that’s numbers. Every day I get to do what I love and help people grow their businesses, which is something I cherish a great deal.
When I met Phil, we always talked about expanding his practice, but the timing was never right. Recently, all the stars aligned, and we joined forces. Since then, we’ve never been busier.
It turns out we make a great team.
The years I spent in medical billing and operations come in very handy working with Phil. We get twice as much done as other firms because we’re not stepping on each other’s toes.
It’s easy to talk about how involved I am in the community and my commitment to doing great work, but the truth is, you’ll never know until you give us a try.
One thing I can tell you for sure is that we’re nothing like other firms. We treat everyone like family, take the time to explain things in plain English, and won’t quit until you’re smiling.
With tax laws changing all the time and life getting busier and busier, maybe it’s time for better accounting from people who really care.
Schedule a free consultation today and see why our clients stay and give our number to their friends and family.
Sincerely,

“You’re not a number here, you’re part of the family.”

Ask Amber︱Tax
Yes. We have a popular program that lets you gift your employees yearly, filling services and practices of all sizes, really love it.
If it’s possible, we can do it. In plain English, we’ll explain what’s deductible and what credits you qualify for. Then we’ll give you a simple way to capture everything so we can make the most out of your next return.
Take it seriously and respond quickly. Forfeitures, seizures, and fines come next. With your permission, we can speak with the IRS on your behalf and put together a plan that makes sense. Don’t wait. Don’t ignore notices. The IRS doesn’t forget.
That depends on whether you’re filing as an individual, or business, or both. Each type has its own set of rules and limits. Once we understand your situation, we can make clear recommendations so your next return can be your best return.
Before anyone can answer that, we need to make sure your setup is proper for your situation. Many expenses can be deducted as long as they are directly related to your business. Every year, there are new changes to these deductions, and our job is to make sure you understand in plain English what’s deductible and what’s not.

No matter what software you’re using, we can help as long as we can get access either via the cloud or a direct remote connection.
Yes. But why? Our job is to get you the best results for a fair price. Your job is to be as organized as you can so we can focus on what’s important. The good news is that most software is inexpensive and easy to use. If you’re not using anything now, we’ll make a suggestion you can live with and make sure you know how to use everything.
We’ll make sure you can run payroll in a few minutes, and we’ll take care of your taxes, withholdings, and other details so you can focus on business. If you have a system already, we’ll double-check to make sure it’s set up properly, and if you need a system, we’ll make a suggestion that makes sense for your situation.
Sure, no problem. We’ll get you caught up and put a plan in place so that it doesn’t happen again. If you have outstanding liabilities, we’ll prioritize them and make a realistic schedule that satisfies everyone, even the IRS.

Do we come to your office?
Sure, our offices are in McAllen, Texas but we have clients all over the country. We can take care of you as long as your online but that doesn’t mean you can’t stop by anytime. If you do we happen to like all varieties of cookies and donuts.
In many cases, an LLC makes perfect sense, but in others, it’s not the best choice. Take us up on our free call, and we can make a real recommendation and not a guess.
You might be. We’ll need to understand the details before we can make suggestions. We can tell you that over the years, we’ve met hundreds of individuals and companies that were not set up the right way, and they wound up paying for an expensive lesson from the IRS.
Yes. The money you’ll spend to untangle personal and business expenses from a combined account is wasted money. We’ll suggest an account structure that will make both of our lives easier and eliminate wasted time.
You can draw a salary, or you can take a periodic distribution depending on your situation. In some circumstances, both make sense. We’re here to understand your situation and get you set up in a way that allows you to get the most benefit from your hard work.
